ABOUT US

Classic design. Modern life. Real impact.

MOD Interiors is an award-winning, full-service interior design studio based in the DFW Mid-Cities area. Since 2003, we've been transforming homes and commercial spaces for busy professionals who want timeless, functional design with a touch of livable luxury.

We're now launching a curated boutique retail space at our Euless studio, and we're looking for a Graphic Design Intern who wants to be part of building something from the ground up.

THE OPPORTUNITY

You won't be fetching coffee. You'll be building a brand.

This internship is a real creative role. You'll work directly with our founder on visual content, brand materials, and the full launch of our new retail boutique. From day one, your work will be seen, used, and matter.

WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON

  • Drafting social media captions and content for Instagram, Facebook, and Pinterest in MOD's warm, polished brand voice
  • Building and maintaining a content calendar for organic social and seasonal campaigns
  • Assisting with email newsletter content and marketing collateral
  • Organizing project photo and video assets for marketing use
  • Drafting blog posts and service page copy
  • Supporting client testimonial and review requests
  • Assisting with promotion for the holiday campaign
  • Performing market research and tracking engagement and performance notes

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Creative, detail-oriented, and ready to own your work.

You don't need to have done this before professionally. You do need to care about the craft, have the programs knowledge, take direction well, and bring your own ideas to the table.

You're naturally curious about what makes design feel elevated rather than just polished, and you notice the small details that separate good work from great work. You take ownership of your projects, ask thoughtful questions, and bring ideas to the table rather than waiting to be told what's next.

You understand every detail is intentional, and that same standard applies to the MOD brand.

YOU'RE A GREAT FIT IF YOU...

  • Are currently enrolled in a Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or related program
  • Know your way around Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) or Canva Pro
  • Have a good eye for aesthetics and understand that design serves a purpose
  • Can take brand guidelines and run with them without needing hand-holding on every piece
  • Are organized, responsive, and meet deadlines
  • Have a genuine interest in interior design, home decor, or lifestyle brands

BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE...

  • Experience with Reels, TikTok, or short-form video editing
  • Photography skills or an eye for styling product shots
  • Any experience with print production or physical signage

WHAT YOU'LL GET

Real portfolio work

Everything you create gets used. No busy work.

Front-row seat to a launch

Watch a boutique brand get built from scratch and be part of it.

Direct mentorship

You'll work closely with our founder, not just handed off to a junior employee.

College credit

We'll work with your program to support academic requirements.

Flexible scheduling

Strong reference

We get that you're a student. We'll work around your class schedule.

We take intern development seriously and will advocate for you after.
