Clinical Psychologist II

Are you ready to use your clinical expertise to improve the lives of individuals experiencing mental illness and co-occurring disorders? We are looking for a compassionate, collaborative Clinical Psychologist II's to join our behavioral health team and provide high-quality psychological assessment, diagnosis, and treatment services.

As a Clinical Psychologist II in the Department of Mental Health, you will provide a broad range of psychological services, including:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and diagnostic assessments.
• Administer, interpret, and prepare reports for psychological testing.
• Provide individual, group, and family psychotherapy using evidence-based treatment approaches.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that support recovery, resiliency, and client success.
• Utilize therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), psychotherapy, and behavioral modification techniques.
• Monitor treatment progress, evaluate outcomes, and modify interventions as needed.
• Gather and analyze medical, psychological, family, and social histories to inform clinical decision-making.
• Participate in clinical case conferences and multidisciplinary treatment planning.
• Prepare professional documentation and psychological reports.
• Provide expert testimony related to psychological evaluations when required.
• Contribute to research initiatives and continuous quality improvement efforts.

Minimum Qualifications

Education

• Doctoral degree (Ph.D., Psy.D., or equivalent) from an accredited institution in Psychology, Counseling Psychology, Educational Psychology, Education with a specialization in Counseling Psychology, or another discipline recognized as equivalent by the California Board of Psychology.

License/Waiver

• Possession of a California Department of Mental Health Waiver issued in accordance with Welfare and Institutions Code Section 5751.1–2.
