Support Services Intern

In this role you will serve as a proactive operational team member responsible for maintaining the day-to-day administrative and office services functions that support a professional, organized, and client-ready office environment. This role supports hospitality and general office services functions while ensuring internal and external service needs are met with efficiency, accuracy, and professionalism. The Support Services Intern serves as a central resource for office logistics and workplace readiness, proactively identifying needs, coordinating priorities, and supporting seamless office operations.
This internship provides undergraduate students with a valuable opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in a professional, collaborative environment that encourages learning, skill development, and active participation. Designed to introduce students to the legal field, this internship offers practical exposure and foundational experience to support a future career within the legal industry.
Program Details
- Internship Duration: August 17, 2026 – October 9, 2026 (8 weeks)
- Schedule: Monday thru Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (hours may flex between 7:30 am-5:30 pm based on company needs)
- Department: Support Services
- Paid, 40 hours a week.
Key Responsibilities and Essential Functions
- Supports daily mailroom and package operations, including receiving, sorting, scanning, distributing, and preparing incoming/outgoing mail and courier deliveries.
- Assists with office logistics to help maintain an organized, functional, and client-ready office environment, including conference room resets, print projects, and miscellaneous office support tasks.
- Maintains office supply and hospitality inventory levels and communicates replenishment needs to appropriate team members or vendors.
- Assist with preparing conference rooms for internal meetings, client meetings, and events, ensuring rooms are set up accurately and timely based on meeting needs.
- Provides receptionist/front desk coverage during breaks, lunches and absences, serving as a professional first point of contact for visitors and callers.
- Coordinates workspace set-up and office readiness for new hires, visitors, and internal office moves, including preparation of supplies, workspace materials, and general setup needs.
- Supports facilities coordination, projects, and other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Currently enrolled in a college or university
- Minimum of 1 year of administrative, hospitality, office services, or related experience preferred
- Proficiency in MS Office (including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) required
- Experience in a law firm, or other professional services setting preferred
