About Millennium Trade School

Millennium Trade School is committed to preparing students for meaningful careers through workforce education, professional development, and community partnerships. We are growing our marketing department and looking for a motivated student who wants hands-on experience inside a growing organization.

This is not a typical marketing internship.

You’ll work directly with the Executive Marketing Assistant and gain exposure to marketing, project management, business operations, event planning, partnerships, AI tools, and executive support.

Position Overview

The Marketing Assistant Intern will assist with day-to-day marketing initiatives while helping organize projects across multiple departments.

Executive Assistant Support

  • Help organize projects and deadlines
  • Maintain digital task boards
  • Organize files and documentation
  • Assist with calendar management
  • Prepare meeting notes
  • Follow up on assigned tasks
  • Track project progress

Administrative Support

  • Data entry
  • Organize contact lists
  • Research community organizations
  • Research potential partnerships
  • Maintain spreadsheets

Creative Projects

  • Brainstorm marketing ideas
  • Assist with website updates
  • Help create presentations
  • Design simple graphics (Canva preferred)
  • Help write newsletters and announcements

Why This Internship Is Different

This internship is designed as a mentorship opportunity.

You’ll work closely with the Executive Marketing Assistant, who is being mentored directly. As the Executive Marketing Assistant learns executive-level business operations, you’ll be trained alongside that process—creating a unique opportunity to grow into leadership responsibilities while gaining practical experience across marketing, operations, and business management.

Rather than focusing on only one area, you’ll develop a broad understanding of how a business grows from the inside out.


 

Schedule

  • Flexible around class schedule
  • Approximately 10–20 hours per week
  • Some on-campus and community events may require attendance


 

Compensation

  • Unpaid
  • Internship credit available if approved by your academic department
