Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Analyst Intern to join our Manhattan office. This internship is designed for students and recent graduates who are interested in gaining structured, hands-on learning experience in financial research, capital markets, data analysis, and business strategy within a professional services environment.
Working alongside experienced team members, interns will receive mentorship, participate in supervised learning projects, and develop practical skills through guided research, regular feedback, and report- and presentation-building opportunities.
Purpose of This Internship
The primary purpose of this internship is educational.
Interns will gain practical exposure to financial analysis by learning how company, market, and industry information is researched, evaluated, organized, and communicated in a professional business environment. Throughout the internship, interns will receive structured guidance from experienced team members while developing analytical, research, presentation, and professional communication skills applicable to future careers in finance and capital markets.
The internship is intended to complement the intern's academic and professional development through supervised learning experiences rather than independent responsibility for business operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Participate in supervised financial research and analysis projects alongside experienced team members.
- Assist in researching public companies, market conditions, industry developments, and relevant financial trends.
- Learn how financial, securities, market, and industry data are collected, verified, organized, and evaluated.
- Observe and participate in project discussions to understand how research supports client services and strategic decision-making.
- Assist with reviewing financial reports, business documents, legal materials, and other publicly available information under team guidance.
- Support the preparation of research summaries, analytical reports, and presentation materials for internal review.
- Participate in review sessions to understand how findings are evaluated, refined, and communicated professionally.
- Complete structured research or presentation projects designed for professional development and work-sample building.
- Attend regular mentorship sessions and receive ongoing feedback throughout the internship.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, Business, or a related field preferred.
- Professional fluency in Mandarin and strong English communication skills.
- Interest in financial analysis, investment research, capital markets, accounting, or business strategy.
- Ability to read and understand financial reports, business documents, and other research materials.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with guidance.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and quickly learn new tools.
- Ability to commute to the Manhattan office.
Preferred Skills
- Coursework or project experience in financial analysis, investment research, accounting, economics, corporate finance, or a related area.
- Experience preparing research reports, presentations, case studies, or other analytical academic projects.
- Familiarity with financial statements, public-company filings, market research, or business databases.
- Experience using Excel for data organization, analysis, or basic financial modeling.
- Familiarity with AI tools used to support research, data analysis, and workflow efficiency.
