Education Specialist

Job Title: Education Specialist 

Type: Full Time 

Location: Hybrid (High Point, NC)

Reports to: Director of Education/CXO

Coordinates with: Stay+

Salary Range: $45,000-$65,000 + Benefits

Entry-Level to Mid-Level Position


 

Responsibilities:

❏ Responsible for project management & teaching of Stay+ curriculum and leagues, in both virtual and in-person programming that may require travel, with emphasis on engagement activities and assisting with planning for long-term scalability. 

❏ Develops curriculum and timelines regarding new academic projects

❏ Prepares planning documents and socializes within organization for input from key stakeholders 

❏ Assists with education seminars and training to broaden capabilities among internal staff and external stakeholders where necessary 

❏ Advises Director of Education & executive management on future development requirements 

❏ Create documentation and lists on a variety of topics, keeping track of participant output and important data

❏ Maintain connections with educators and schools

❏ Willingness to travel ~10% of the year

❏ Participates in Working Groups, as requested 

 Minimum Qualifications: 

● Bachelor's Degree

● Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. 

● Deep knowledge and understanding of SPIN market position, demands from primary user groups (students, K12 schools, colleges, educators) 

● Excellent organizational skills. Detail-oriented and organized. 

● General knowledge of functional software programs ranging from office productivity to front and back-end technologies best suited for scaling operations

● Experienced in Communication Softwares, Google Suite, and other educational/gaming software programs


 

Preferred Qualifications: 

● Masters Degree

● Experience in teaching, education, or working with students 5th grade through 12th grade

● Experience in content creation, AI, aviation, drones, motorsports, coding, cybersecurity, engineering, game design, interior design, and/or other STEM/CTE fields
