Hospice Music Volunteers Wanted!
Grace Hospice is recruiting music volunteers throughout the Twin Cities metro! Do you enjoy singing or playing an instrument? Share your gift of music with Grace Hospice patients! Our team of Board-Certified Music Therapists use music to clinically address physical, emotional, and cognitive goals. Music Volunteers work in consultation with a Music Therapist to provide supplemental visits to bring joy and comfort to patients.
As always, we seek openhearted adult volunteers to provide companionship and comfort to our patients and families. We ask volunteers to commit to 2-4 visits per month, and scheduling is very flexible. Volunteer functions vary and depend on areas of interest and experience. Roles include companionship, caregiver respite, legacy work, pet visits, bereavement support, and more. Training is provided at orientation and optional monthly educational workshops.
Thank you so much for your consideration. Visit our website to apply here. Questions? Contact Grace Volunteer Services at GraceVolunteerServices@gracecaring.org, or call our main phone number at 612-238-0034.
