Experiential Learning Center Coordinator

This hands-on role is responsible for facilitating daily Biztown simulations, engaging students in interactive learning experiences, and ensuring all program operations run smoothly while guiding middle school students through immersive, hands-on economic and career readiness simulations. The ideal candidate enjoys working with youth, is comfortable speaking in front of large groups, and thrives in a fast-paced educational environment.

This is a part-time position that requires flexibility in scheduling. Workdays and hours will vary based on school participation and simulation scheduling throughout the school year. Candidates must be available to adjust their schedules to meet program needs.

Primary Responsibilities

· Facilitate and manage daily simulations for up to 100 students per day.

· Deliver a consistent, high-quality, and engaging learning experience throughout the school year.

· Serve as the lead presenter and confidently address large groups using a microphone.

· Guide students through hands-on simulation activities and learning experiences.

· Coordinate daily simulation schedules and logistics to ensure successful program completion.

· Troubleshoot simulation software, tablets, and storefront technology as needed.

· Assist with inventory tracking and management of program resources, including tablets, props, and educational materials.

· Prepare, organize, and reset all simulation materials and resources before and after each program session.

· Collaborate with staff, volunteers, and stakeholders to ensure smooth program delivery.

Qualifications

· Minimum of 2 years of experience working with youth in educational, nonprofit, recreation, or related settings.

· Strong public speaking skills and the ability to engage large audiences.

· Excellent communication, presentation, and customer service skills.

· Strong organizational and time-management skills.

· Ability to adapt quickly, solve problems, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.

· Experience providing basic technical support and troubleshooting technology issues.

· Flexible availability to accommodate school schedules and program needs.

Safety and Security Responsibilities

· Participate in all onsite safety and emergency procedures.

· Prioritize student, volunteer, and staff safety at all times.

· Help maintain a safe, welcoming, and inclusive learning environment.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to: sit, walk, occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, continually required to talk or hear, occasionally required to bend, lift, or climb, frequently required to lift and carry light weights (25-50 lbs.), and specific vision abilities include: close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust or focus.
