Fall Coaching Positions: Competitive Pay + Bonuses + Travel Stipend + Flexible Schedule

Kidokinetics of Central Maryland is a developmental fitness and sports program for children. We offer an exciting and unique program designed to provide children with the opportunity to improve their physical fitness, while improving their coordination, self-confidence, and social skills. The program teaches the fundamentals of various sports with a focus on developing motor skills in a fun and non-competitive environment geared for children ages 1-10.

Kidokinetics is looking for a high-energy, motivated individual who is passionate about fitness and kids! As a Coach, you won't just lead classes; you’ll be the face of our program, helping us grow by bringing the "Power of Play" to more children in our community.

Core Responsibilities

  • Coaching: Lead fun physical education classes for children (ages 18 months to 12 years) focusing on gross motor skills and sports fundamentals.
  • Prospecting & Growth: Actively identify and reach out to local preschools, daycare centers, and community hubs to establish new partnerships and class locations.
  • Engagement: Maintain upbeat communication with parents and school directors to ensure high enrollment and retention.
  • Management: Handle equipment setup/breakdown and track student progress and attendance via our digital platform.

What We’re Looking For

  • The Energy: You are charismatic, patient, and can keep a group of toddlers/preschoolers/school-aged children engaged.
  • The Hustle: You aren't afraid to “door-knock” in person to pitch our programs to potential partners.
  • The Experience: Previous experience in coaching, teaching, or youth sports is preferred.
  • The Basics: Must have reliable transportation, a clean background check, and a love for fitness.

This position requires a high school diploma and valid driver’s license. Applicants must pass a level 2 background check to be considered for employment. We are looking for responsible, reliable, outgoing people to join our team.  Having a reliable car is a MUST as we are a mobile program. Our ideal candidate has previous experience with preschool and elementary age children and a background in physical education, coaching, or sports.
