Embedded Firmware Engineer - Part Time
AeroCharge is a startup company focusing on wireless charging at a distance. Our vision is to enable true wireless charging, allowing users to connect to a charging network and receive power at all times, similar to the way we connect to WiFi today. This position is based out of Los Angeles California. In this role you will be working closely with a team of passionate entrepreneurs developing a new revolutionary technology and products. This is a part time role.
Embedded Firmware Engineer Description:
Responsibility:
- Responsible for microcontroller firmware development using C language
- Work closely with product management, mixed signal, antenna, mechanical and system engineering to capture requirements and ensure alignment on design
- Provide regular updates on progress to the cross functional team and management
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge and experience with real-time embedded, object-oriented programming in C/C++
- Experience or relevant course work in communication systems, and digital signal processing
- Experience with implementation of complex algorithms
- Familiarity with SPI, UART, JTAG, I2C, and USB protocols
- Familiarity with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) protocol
- Familiarity with FPGAs and working knowledge of VHDL is a plus
Education and Experience:
- B.S.E.E or equivalent
- Senior engineering student
