Student Ambassador and Campus Lead

About the role
We are looking for Student Ambassadors to bring Project Blackbird to their own campus. You will be the person who makes it
happen at your school: opening doors with departments and student organizations, shaping what the program looks like for
your community, and helping produce an event your campus will actually remember.
This is a hands-on role with real ownership. You will work directly with our national outreach team, and by the end you will
have planned and delivered a campus-wide mental health program from first email to event day.
What you will do
• Work with our outreach team to connect with departments across your campus, including student health and counseling
services, athletics, residence life, Greek life, and academic departments
• Build relationships with campus clubs and student organizations that want to support or collaborate on the program
• Help shape the specific elements of the Project Blackbird program and resource fair for your university, so it fits your
campus and your community
• Research and book venue space, and help plan and run the event itself
• Join the student panel at your event if you would like to. Totally optional, and many ambassadors say it is the best part.
What you will get

• Real outreach and engagement experience with university departments, student organizations, and community partners
• Venue booking and event planning experience you can point to on your resume
• Ambassadors who complete a successful campus program will be flown to Washington, DC and hosted at our annual gala
in May 2027 at the International Spy Museum, an evening with our celebrity partners, industry leaders, and friends of
Project Blackbird
Who we are looking for
• Current undergraduate or graduate students at a US college or university
• Students who care about mental health and want to change how their campus talks about it
• Comfortable reaching out to people you have not met yet, or ready to get comfortable
• Organized and reliable. You will be juggling multiple campus conversations at once.
• No prior event or nonprofit experience required. We will teach you everything else.
