Assistant Academy Director

  • Assume responsibility for all aspects of the learning center’s daily operations in the absence of the Academy Director.
  • Monitor daily classroom management, including group size, staff-to-child ratios, attendance, start and end times, mealtimes, toileting, rest periods, classroom experiences, schedules, and procedures.
  • Assist with the educational program to provide enriching experiences and positive outcomes.
  • Assess individual contributions, curriculum planning, programs, and field trips.
  • Work with teaching staff to ensure adequate supplies, equipment, and resources are available.
  • Participate in classroom transition processes.
  • Participate in the Response to Intervention process when required.
  • Conduct daily attendance reviews, including tracking and reporting staff absences to ensure proper coverage and communication.
  • Complete weekly pre-enrollment audits by reviewing upcoming enrollments and ensuring all required documentation is accurate and submitted to the Enrollment Team on time.
  • Contact newly hired candidates each Friday in partnership with the Onboarding Team to welcome them, confirm they are prepared for their start date, and address initial questions or concerns.
  • Contact candidates weekly who are not actively participating in the onboarding process to offer support, answer questions, and help re-engage them.
  • Maintain organized and current records of candidate communications, enrollment documentation, and attendance tracking.
  • Abide by and enforce company policies and procedures.
  • Earn and maintain consistent customer satisfaction while maximizing enrollment potential and minimizing student withdrawals.
  • Follow all required business-management practices.
  • Serve as a liaison between teachers and parents to address problems and answer questions when needed.
  • Mentor, inspire, and energize the team while holding staff accountable for assigned tasks.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.
