Orthopedic Physical Therapist

Job Title: Orthopedic Physical Therapist
Location: Hampstead, NC
Type: Full-time
Model: Direct-pay, 1-on-1
Compensation: $75,000–$100,000 + performance-based bonuses

About Alpha Osteopractic

Alpha Osteopractic is a premium, direct-pay performance medicine practice in Hampstead, NC. We exist because motivated patients deserve more than rushed, symptom-chasing care — and talented clinicians deserve more than a high-volume environment that leaves no room to think, grow, or practice at their best.

Every session at Alpha is a full, uninterrupted hour of 1-on-1 care. No double-booking. No aides. Just skilled, evidence-informed physical medicine applied with intention.

The Role

We're hiring an Orthopedic Physical Therapist who sees this work as true physical medicine — skilled evaluation, root-cause identification, and the precise application of the right intervention at the right time for every individual patient.

You'll manage a focused daily caseload of athletes, active adults, and high-performing individuals in a setting that gives you the time, autonomy, and support to do your best clinical work. New graduates with strong foundations and a genuine drive to grow are encouraged to apply alongside experienced clinicians.

What You'll Do

Conduct thorough, 1-on-1 evaluations designed to uncover the true driver of dysfunction — not just its location

Develop individualized plans of care integrating manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-education, and patient education

Adjust each plan of care visit-to-visit so patients get exactly what they need, when they need it

Progress patients from pain toward full, restriction-free function and long-term resilience

Collaborate with our clinical team on case discussions and patient outcomes

Grow continuously through mentorship, continuing education, and a culture of perpetual improvement

What We're Looking For

Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree

Licensed (or license-eligible) in North Carolina

CPR/BLS certified

Strong orthopedic clinical foundation and manual therapy skills

Genuine curiosity — you read the research because you want to, not because you have to

Coachable, ownership-oriented mindset with a drive to keep growing

Passion for helping active individuals solve root-cause problems and stay well long-term

New graduates welcome; experience with athletes or active populations is a plus

What You'll Get

Competitive compensation: $75,000–$100,000 base salary + performance bonuses

Real 1-on-1 care: A full hour with each patient — no double-booking, no compromises

Fellowship-level mentorship: Direct mentorship from Dr. Brittany A. Forbes, PT, DPT, FAAOMPT, OCS, Dip. Osteopractic

Continuing education stipend: Annual CEU budget to support your perpetual improvement

Paid time off and a schedule built around sustainable work-life balance

Structured onboarding and a clear path to grow your skills and role within a expanding practice

State-of-the-art facility with the tools and space to practice at the top of your license

This Role Is Probably Not for You If…

You prefer high volume, protocol-driven care, or a pace where clinical reasoning takes a back seat.

This Role Is for You If…

You want a full hour with motivated patients, a mentor who is genuinely invested in your growth, and a practice where your clinical skills actually get to matter every single day.
