Natural Resources Technician
The City of Burnsville is seeking a Natural Resources Technician to support programs focused on water resources, lake management, habitat, wildlife, and environmental outreach. This position plays an important role in protecting and enhancing the City’s natural resources through project management, environmental monitoring, community engagement, and collaboration with residents, staff, and community partners.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in biology, environmental studies, or a related field (or equivalent experience), two years of water resources and lake management experience, GIS experience, and the ability to engage with community groups. Experience with habitat management, wetland conservation, and local government is preferred.
