Board Certified Behavior Analyst

The Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) provides clinical oversight and supervision of Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and ensures the delivery of evidence based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services in accordance with HHSC requirements. The BCBA is responsible for program analysis and planning, staff training, assessments and coordination, and quality assurance while providing direct services to children and families. This role requires collaboration with internal MHMR programs and community partners and the use of trauma informed practices that promote felt safety, regulation, and family engagement, consistent with MHMR and Child and Family Services missions and values.

 

Minimum Requirements:
Minimum Education: Master’s Degree

Defined Education: Applied Behavior Analysis, Education, Psychology, or related Health and Human Services field

Preference: Experience working with children and youth ages 3 years old to age 15 years old

Years’ Experience: One (1) year of experience

Defined Experience: Experience working with children/youth with Autism

License/Certifications: Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA), and Licensed Behavior Analyst in the state of Texas, current license with no restrictions.
