Job Overview:

We are seeking a talented project engineer with a focus on consulting civil engineering, specifically in the water and wastewater sector. As a project engineer, you will play a vital role in supporting the successful delivery of water and wastewater projects. You will work closely with the project team, self-performing various engineering tasks, and contributing to the overall project execution.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the project team to support the design, planning, and execution of water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
• Assist in conducting feasibility studies, site assessments, and engineering analyses to determine project viability and develop design solutions.
• Prepare engineering calculations, technical drawings, specifications, and reports in compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
• Contribute to the development of project plans, schedules, and budgets, and actively participate in monitoring and controlling project progress.
• Assist in coordinating with multidisciplinary project teams, including architects, engineers, and contractors, to ensure smooth project execution.
• Conduct site visits, inspections, and fieldwork to monitor construction progress, identify issues, and ensure adherence to design specifications.
• Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities to obtain necessary permits and approvals for project implementation.
• Stay updated with industry best practices, relevant codes, regulations, and emerging technologies related to water and wastewater engineering.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Engineering Intern (EI) license.
• Interest in water and wastewater infrastructure design, construction, and operation.
• Understanding of relevant engineering software and tools used in civil engineering design and analysis such as Autodesk Civil 3D.
• Capable of self-performing engineering tasks such as calculations, drawings, and specifications.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to clients and stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
