Part-Time STEM Head Teacher

Scientific Adventures for Girls (SAfG) is seeking a Part-Time STEM Head Teacher to join our team in the East Bay. This is a part-time, in-person role (20–25 hrs/week, Mon–Fri, approx. 1:00–5:45 pm) teaching hands-on STEM activities at elementary schools across Berkeley, Emeryville, Oakland, San Pablo, El Sobrante, and Richmond. Pay is $22.00–$29.50/hr depending on experience, and includes medical, dental, and vision benefits. No teaching credential required.

We're looking for someone with at least one year of teaching or out-of-school time experience, a valid driver's license, and a passion for educational equity and inspiring girls in STEM. Experience working with BIPOC students in Title I schools is a plus, as is Spanish. SAfG is committed to diversity and encourages BIPOC professionals to apply.
