Athletic Trainer
The Wellness Center and Natatorium at University of South Dakota is looking for a professional athletic trainer to assist in providing injury prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation services for our new and expanding Club Sports programs. This will include athletes competing in volleyball, soccer, baseball, powerlifting, rugby, tennis, swimming, and distance sports. This position is instrumental in helping student-athletes perform safely and successfully both in training and competition.
Qualifications: Master’s degree in sports medicine or a related field with experience in a similar position required. BOC certification required and South Dakota Athletic Trainers licensure eligible. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
This position will be appointed on either a 9-month (August 22 - May 21) or 12-month basis, depending on candidate preference.
