Position Summary
The graduate student in this position will (1) support the operation of the Occupational Ergonomics and Safety (OES) Lab by setting up lab equipment for human biometric and physiological data collection and preparing lab instructions and guidlines, (2) perform mechanical analyses of human spinal motion segment models.

Required Job Qualifications
Demonstrated experience in (1) mechanical modeling and analyses using SOLIDWORKS and Ansys/FEBio, (2) installing hardware and debuging software issues, and (3) scientific writing.

Preferred Job Qualifications
The graduate student must be currently enrolled in a mechanical engineering or closely related program. The student must have college credits for advanced mechanical modeling and analyses courses.

Essential Duties
Job responsibilities include (1) setting up the equipment, (2) collecting preliminary data for lab course development, (3) conducting mechancial modeling and analyses using SOLIDWORKS and Ansys.
