Job Title: Research Data Manager
Location: Boston (hybrid)
About our work:
MCG LLC is a research and data integrity consulting firm. We offer evidence-based specialty services for academic and scientific research. The confidential and secure management of research data for our clients is at the core of what we do. We work with, and across, research organizations, companies, universities, and higher-education partners to develop sound collection, storage, analysis, and analytical data reporting frameworks to meet client needs. Our team leverages state-of-the-art scientific, forensic, and AI software platforms for data acquisition and assessments. Our clients rely on us for proven, unbiased, fact-based approaches to data management and analysis that aligns with, and exceeds, expectations not only among colleagues and peers but also federal and regulatory partners.
What we are looking for:
MS (Master of Science), MPH (Master of Public Health) or similar background training and education in the research environment. A bachelor's degree with relevant experience aligning with the following examples will be considered: client trial manager, laboratory manager, scientific program manager, research data manager.
Candidates with scientific training from various backgrounds. Subject matter discipline is not necessarily a restriction, and the following life sciences backgrounds are a plus: biomedical, biostatistician, and/or genomics.
Strong methodological scientific background qualities are essential, as are attention to detail and organizational skills.
Individuals with exposure to research organization management and administrative ecosystems who are looking for novel and unique application of scientific processes to create evidence-based data sets in the research integrity space.

Some additional travel (outside of Boston, MA) may be required.

No research integrity expertise is needed but is a plus.
