Marketing Associate

*This is a West Allis/Allenton, WI onsite job based opportunity.*

 

Summary

The Marketing Associate will serve as a hands-on marketing and product marketing resource responsible for supporting day-to-day marketing execution, product management activities, new product development, content development, digital marketing, events, sales enablement, and reporting for assigned business units or brands. This full-time position is intended for a marketing professional with 2 to 4 years of experience who can manage projects independently, collaborate across sales, engineering, operations, and leadership, and help strengthen brand visibility, customer engagement, product positioning, and lead generation in manufacturing, industrial, and data center markets.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Content Creation and Campaign Support

• Create, edit, and schedule content for social media, email campaigns, website updates, brochures, presentations, and other marketing materials for assigned business units or brands.

• Support the development of blog posts, case studies, press releases, and product-focused content that highlights capabilities, applications, and market-specific solutions.

• Help maintain a consistent brand voice across internal and external communications while adapting messaging for different audiences and markets.

Graphic Design and Brand Management

• Design or update graphics, sales materials, advertisements, trade show assets, and other branded collateral using approved templates and brand standards.

• Organize and maintain marketing assets, photography, videos, templates, and source files.

Digital Marketing and Website Support

• Assist with website content updates, landing pages, SEO improvements, digital advertising support, and analytics tracking to improve visibility and generate qualified leads.

• Monitor social media channels, engage with followers when appropriate, and help grow the company's online presence for assigned brands and target markets.

• Track campaign performance and recommend improvements based on engagement, website traffic, lead generation, and other marketing performance data.

Event and Trade Show Support

• Support planning, coordination, promotion, and follow-up for trade shows, customer events, association meetings, and company events.

• Prepare promotional materials, booth assets, registration information, attendee lists, and event communications.

• Coordinate with sales, operations, vendors, and event partners to help ensure deadlines and logistics are met.

Market and Business Unit Support

• Serve as a day-to-day marketing and product marketing resource for assigned business units or brands, helping translate business priorities, customer needs, and product opportunities into practical marketing activities.

• Build a strong working understanding of target markets, customer needs, product applications, competitive positioning, and industry trends, including opportunities in data center, industrial, manufacturing, and power infrastructure markets.

• Coordinate with sales, engineering, operations, and leadership to gather information, clarify product messaging, support prioritization, and keep marketing and product-related projects moving forward.

Product Management and New Product Development Support

• Support the stage-gate process for new product development by helping organize product inputs, customer needs, competitive research, project updates, action items, timelines, and launch requirements.

• Coordinate with engineering, sales, operations, purchasing, and leadership to gather information needed for product decisions, stage-gate reviews, launch planning, and commercialization.

• Help manage and maintain current product information, including product descriptions, benefits, specifications, selling points, competitive differentiators, photography, literature, and website content.

• Monitor current product performance, customer feedback, market trends, and competitive activity to identify opportunities for product improvements, repositioning, new content, or additional sales tools.

• Assist with new product launches by developing launch checklists, messaging, internal communications, sales enablement materials, website updates, customer-facing collateral, and post-launch follow-up reporting.

Sales Enablement and Product Marketing Support

• Develop and maintain sales presentations, product sheets, comparison guides, proposal support materials, and other tools that help the sales team communicate product value, differentiation, and application fit in key markets such as data centers, industrial equipment, power infrastructure, and manufacturing.

• Gather product information, project details, customer feedback, competitive insights, pricing inputs, and internal subject matter expertise to support go-to-market efforts, product positioning, and market-specific messaging.

• Maintain and update product and sales enablement resources so teams have accurate, current, and easy-to-use materials that reflect product capabilities, application details, customer needs, and industry trends.

Education and/or Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field preferred.

• 2 to 4 years of marketing, product marketing, or related experience preferred; experience in B2B, manufacturing, industrial, data center, or technical markets is a plus.

• Experience supporting product launches, product marketing, stage-gate processes, or cross-functional product development projects is a plus.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

• Experience with social media platforms, email marketing, website content management, and content creation tools.

• Familiarity with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CRM/marketing automation tools, Google Analytics, product information management, or similar tools is a plus.
