Financial Analyst

As our portfolio continues to grow, we are seeking a Financial Analyst to work directly with our Director of Finance. This role offers broad exposure to real estate finance, accounting, private equity reporting, financial analysis, and business intelligence. Position Overview

The Financial Analyst will play an integral role in the company's financial operations by supporting accounting, financial reporting, data analysis, and process improvement initiatives. This individual will work closely with senior leadership and gain exposure to acquisitions, investor reporting, portfolio performance, and operational analytics.

Unlike many entry-level finance roles, this position provides the opportunity to own meaningful projects and contribute directly to executive decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with monthly and quarterly financial reporting
  • Prepare and analyze operating and portfolio performance reports
  • Support accounting processes, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial close procedures
  • Maintain and improve financial models and reporting templates
  • Analyze operational and financial data to identify trends and business insights
  • Develop dashboards and reports using Excel and other reporting tools
  • Assist with investor reporting and capital call preparation
  • Support acquisition underwriting and financial due diligence as needed
  • Identify opportunities to automate repetitive processes and improve reporting efficiency
  • Work on special projects directly with the Director of Finance

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (or expected graduation) in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and take ownership of projects

Preferred (but not required):

  • Experience with Power Query, Power BI, SQL, Python, or VBA
  • Internship experience in finance, accounting, real estate, or consulting
  • Interest in commercial real estate or private equity
