Position Description:

The Lory Student Center is seeking self-motivated professional student employees with multi-tasking skills that can work independently and in a team, who can communicate changes in work schedules to join our custodial team. Environmental Services custodial workers play a vital role in creating a welcoming clean and comfortable experience for all students, staff and guests. This position supports daily Lory Student Center operations through custodial services and sanitation while working as part of a fast-paced collaborative team environment.

Essential Job Duties

This position may include but isn't limited to:

reports to the Environmental Services Supervisor.

keeps availability up to date communicating with supervisor regarding changes. 

Blood Borne Pathogens, LSC orientation, and departmental orientation.

becomes proficient in tasks and equipment gaining the ability to train others. 

plays a key role in cleaning and maintaining a safe work and learning environment at the LSC.  Areas include outside of the building, restrooms, and Ramskeller. 

greets guests and other users assisting as needed. 

handles special projects in an efficient and complete manner as directed. 

 other duties as assigned
