Office Director
Arts Academy in the Woods is seeking a full-time Office Director
WORK SCHEDULE: M-F 8:00-4:00
PAY: $41,704-$70,997, commensurate with experience and training
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work with school leadership to meet goals, create a welcoming and team oriented atmosphere, and build an open and honest culture in line with school values
Manage school-wide phone, email and in-person communication including: answering phones, greeting visitors, and assisting student needs in the office
Implement registration, badging and visiting procedures for parents and guests
Assist with school events such as Parent Orientation, Open House, School Outings, Field Trips, and Graduation
Ensure a clean and welcoming environment is maintained
Perform administrative functions such as preparing reports, filing, processing incoming and outgoing mail/packages, coordinating meetings and events, maintaining calendars, stocking office supplies and other materials, log and report issues pertaining to equipment, technology, custodial and facilities, payroll, and submitting invoices
Ensure timely and accurate completion of Human Resource processes including I-9 verification for new hires, weekly time and attendance for all staff, and offboarding
Collect, manage, and distribute medication and forms for students
Coordinate emergency procedures
Assist with student enrollment
Perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
Associate’s degree; Bachelor’s degree preferred
Minimum 2 years’ office management experience
High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Work, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Experience/Willingness to learn and master new computer programs (PowerSchool, AS400)
High quality written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organization and time management skills
Ability to work independently and contribute to a team
Professional, punctual, self-motivated, and has a good attendance record
Ability to understand and manage confidential information
Ability to lift 25 lbs
Ability to pass federal and state criminal background checks (FBI/BCI)
Experience working in an educational setting preferred
