Position Summary
The Wellness Therapy Specialist is responsible for providing non-invasive wellness and
recovery services including assisted stretching, manual therapy, electrical stimulation (e-stim),
local cryotherapy, and other recovery-focused treatments. This role supports patient wellness,
mobility, pain management, recovery, and overall client satisfaction while contributing to the
daily operations and growth of the practice.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Patient Care & Recovery Services
● Perform one-on-one assisted stretching sessions based on patient goals and provider
recommendations
● Administer electrical stimulation (e-stim) therapies according to office protocols
● Provide manual therapy and soft tissue techniques within scope of training
● Administer local cryotherapy treatments safely and effectively
● Educate patients on recovery, mobility, posture, flexibility, and wellness strategies
● Monitor patient comfort and response during treatments
● Maintain accurate treatment notes and documentation
● Communicate patient progress and concerns with providers and management
Client Experience
● Provide exceptional customer service and patient support
● Build positive relationships with patients and spa clients
● Educate patients on available wellness services and treatment plans
● Assist with patient retention and follow-up communications
● Promote a welcoming, professional, and supportive environment
Administrative, Office & Equipment Management Responsibilities
● Assist with appointment scheduling, confirmations, and patient communications.
● Assist if not with patients - answering phones, respond to patient text messages and
provide exceptional customer service.
● Process payments and maintain accurate patient and treatment records.
● Responsible for ordering and maintaining adequate inventory levels of e-stim supplies,
electrodes, conductive gel, cryotherapy products, cryo gel, office supplies, and other
treatment-related materials necessary for patient care and daily operations.
● Monitor, purchase, and maintain available treatment minutes on therapy equipment to
ensure uninterrupted patient services.
● Conduct routine inventory counts and maintain adequate supply levels to support daily
operations.
● Perform routine cleaning, sanitation, and maintenance of e-stim devices, cryotherapy
equipment, stretching tables, treatment rooms, recovery areas, and common spaces in
accordance with office protocols.
● Ensure all therapy equipment is functioning properly and promptly report maintenance or
repair needs.
● Maintain organized, stocked, clean, and professional treatment rooms, recovery areas,
and common spaces at all times.
● Assist with daily opening and closing procedures for treatment and recovery areas.
● Follow all safety, infection control, and equipment operation guidelines.
● Take ownership of treatment equipment, supplies, and patient care areas to ensure a
safe, clean, efficient, and welcoming environment for patients and staff.
● Assist with additional administrative, operational, and patient care support duties as
assigned to meet the needs of the practice.
Marketing & Community Engagement
● Assist with wellness events, workshops, and community outreach programs
● Support social media content creation including photos, videos, testimonials, and
educational content
● Educate patients on wellness memberships, services, and retail products
● Participate in promotional events and referral programs
General Responsibilities
● Follow all office policies, procedures, and safety standards
● Maintain treatment equipment and report maintenance concerns
● Participate in staff meetings and ongoing training
● Assist as needed to support daily operations
● Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned by management
Qualifications
● Certified Personal Trainer
● Background in kinesiology, exercise science, personal training, athletic training,
massage therapy, physical therapy, chiropractic assistance, or related
healthcare/wellness field preferred
● Experience with assisted stretching, manual therapy, recovery services, or rehabilitation
preferred
● CPR/AED certification preferred
● Strong communication and interpersonal skills
● Ability to work independently and collaboratively
● Professional appearance and positive attitude
● Passion for health, wellness, rehabilitation, and patient care
Physical Requirements
● Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and assist patients throughout the workday
● Ability to perform assisted stretching and manual therapy techniques
● Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally

Compensation & Benefits
● Starting pay: $18.00–$22.00 per hour, based on experience, qualifications,
certifications, and demonstrated skills.

Introductory Employment Period
All newly hired employees are subject to a 90-day introductory (probationary) period
beginning on their date of hire. During this period, the employee's performance, attendance,
professionalism, ability to follow protocols, patient interaction, teamwork, and overall job fit will
be evaluated.
Upon successful completion of the 90-day introductory period, employees may become eligible
for company-sponsored benefits and wage review opportunities, subject to company policies
and employment status.
The practice reserves the right to extend the introductory period if additional time is needed to
evaluate performance or training progress.
Completion of the introductory period does not alter the at-will employment relationship.
Employment may be terminated by either the employee or employer at any time, with or without
cause or notice, as permitted by law.
