Building Aide
Lincoln Elementary School is looking for a dedicated, compassionate Building Aide to join our team. Your primary focus will be supporting our Title I Reading program, helping students in grades K–5 build foundational literacy skills and a lifelong love for reading.
Key Responsibilities:
Targeted Literacy Support: Work one-on-one or with small groups of students to practice phonics, sight words, reading fluency, and comprehension.
Teacher Collaboration: Assist the reading specialist in implementing lesson plans, tracking student progress, and prepping instructional materials.
Building Support: Help maintain a safe, positive environment by assisting with daily school routines, including lunchroom, recess, or hallway supervision.
Who We’re Looking For:
A warm, patient individual who loves working with children and celebrates their small victories.
Strong communication skills and a team-first mindset.
High school diploma or equivalent required (experience in early childhood education or tutoring is a big plus).
Ability to pass a standard background check.
