Intervention Specialist - Leave of Absence contract  
Amherst Junior High School

Leave of Absence contract for the 2026-2027 school year

Salary determined by the ATA negotiated agreement.

Job Summary:
Plans, implements, and evaluates student learning experiences. Helps students identify goals and make appropriate choices. Encourages parental involvement. Note: Possible duties require traveling to various buildings throughout the district as scheduled.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Ohio teacher's license or certificate appropriate for the assignment: Intervention Specialist teaching license
  • Meets all mandated health requirements.
  • Documentation of a clear criminal record.
  • Complies with drug-free workplace rules and board policies.
