Summary:
Provides patients of the CHRISTUS with a Mental Health Evaluation. Provides patients and families of CHRISTUS with supportive group activities and individual and/or family counseling as appropriate. Provides consultation with CHRISTUS professionals, medical staff, and other relevant individuals as necessary.
Responsibilities:
- Provides patients and families of CHRISTUS Hospital with individual and/or family counseling as appropriate
- Provides patients of CHRISTUS Hospital with a Mental Health Evaluation, including appropriate assessments, with report
- Provides patients and families of CHRISTUS Hospital with supportive group activities
- Provides consultation with CHRISTUS Hospital professionals, medical staff, and other relevant individuals as necessary
- Participates in program development by providing ideas and research on selected topics
- Strictly adheres to the legal and ethical professional standards
- Participate in professional seminars, conferences, and workshops in an effort to remain aware of current trends and issues related to counseling and sub-specialty
- Utilize assessment data to ascertain psychosocial risk factors and develop individualized treatment plans for each patient.
- Responsible for implementing clinical interventions that promote, maintain, or restore mental health, effect rehabilitation and facilitate developmental progression.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Education/Skills
- Master's degree requiredÂ
Experience
- Minimum of three years' experience
 Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications
- Current LPC in state of employment
- BLS
Work Schedule:
8AM - 5PM Monday-Friday
