Veterinary Care Assistant (Part-Time)

We are seeking compassionate, reliable individuals to assist with administering prescribed medications to cats at our established rescue, Rescue Purrfect. We are affiliated and located on the same campus as The Bridge Clinic in Bensalem, PA. This position involves visiting the rescue 7 days a week (with schedules shared among 2–3 team members) to provide medications and monitor the cats' overall well-being.

Each shift typically lasts 2 hours (7:30am-9:30am), with one caregiver scheduled per day.

Compensation: $18/hour

Responsibilities:

• Administer oral and topical medications as directed.
• Observe cats for changes in health or behavior and report concerns.
• Maintain accurate medication records.
• Work calmly and confidently with cats in a rescue environment.
• Follow established handling, sanitation, and safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• Current or former veterinary technician students are strongly encouraged to apply.
• Experience handling cats is preferred but not required.
• Training will be provided for the right candidates.
• Must be dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently.
• A genuine passion for animal welfare is essential.
