Account Executive Logistics
Summary
This position is a collaborative effort between a high-profile fashion house and a 3PL to ensure a flawless supply chain to its clients. In addition to working with the management of said fashion house and their service providers, the incumbent will also manage the logistical operations to fulfill the store orders, manage the inventory levels, handle returns, as well as manage the departmental team and meet the deadlines.
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily workload of assigned department team members to ensure they work productively and meet deadlines and company standards.
- Responsible for the day-to-day activities and guidance of their Team Members.
- Account Executives set targets, implement guidelines, and assist with any issues the Team Member may have.
- Ensure Team Members follow company policies and procedures.
- Administer Corrective Counseling documents to Team Members when there are violations of the company policy as listed in the company handbook. Monitor and approve Team Member's work hours, PTO and Sick time on Paycom to ensure payroll compliance and accuracy.
- Discover training needs and work with Training and Development Manager to provide coaching and feedback.
- Conduct performance reviews on an annual basis.
- Respond to customer communications and concerns regarding projects and daily workload.
- Manage activities throughout the order fulfillment and transportation cycle to make sure established deadlines given by the client are met.
- Maintaining constant communication with our client’s point person.
- Coordinate with team to meet delivery goals to our client’s wholesale vendors.
- Processes and follows up on client requests such as: tracking deliveries and monitoring inventory.
- Address any Customer Service issues that our clients may have.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure accuracy of inventory reports.
- Ensure warehouse team’s efficiency as well as quality of work.
- Oversee the warehouse team with the receiving, allocation, pick and pack of merchandise as well as the shipping of orders in the warehouse floor.
- Ensure EDI compliance standards are met by Team Members.
- Ensure that all orders for the new season are in, and in sync with our client’s system.
- Document and reconcile all delivery times, manpower and transportation costs for monthly closing of the client services billing process.
- Upkeep training and development of department operational needs.
- Must understand EDI compliance for account - review routing guidelines.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in preferred
Logistics experience, exposure or familiarity highly encouraged
Schedule:
- Monday – Friday (Flexibility to work Saturdays)
- 9:00AM- 5:30PM (with flexibility to extend work hours if needed)
