Operations Assistant
Overview
Universal Title, a premier real estate settlement company and recognized leader in the DC Metro area is seeking a highly motivated Operations Assistant to join our growing team. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience across every facet of a successful title and settlement company while working directly with the CEO, President, Director of Human Resources, and Accounting Manager.
More than a traditional administrative role, you'll contribute to executive support, business operations, special projects, and process improvements that help drive the company forward. We're looking for someone who is bright, organized, proactive, and eager to learn. What You Will Be Doing
- Provide executive support to the CEO and President, including business license & bond renewal, statistical reporting, and other business-related tasks.
- Collaborate with the Director of Human Resources on employee initiatives, onboarding, reporting, and operational projects.
- Work alongside the Accounting Manager to assist with administrative and operational accounting functions.
- Identify opportunities to improve workflows, streamline processes, and increase operational efficiency across departments.
- Coordinate cross-functional projects and ensure deadlines and deliverables are met.
- Prepare reports, presentations, meeting materials, and business documentation.
- Research, analyze, and recommend solutions to operational challenges.
- Assist with company events, meetings, and organizational initiatives.
- Take ownership of projects from inception through completion while keeping leadership informed of progress.
- Serve as a dependable resource for leaders and team members by anticipating needs and solving problems before they arise.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required.
