Patient Access Associate ED
MaineHealth Maine Medical Center in Biddeford is seeking Patient Access Associates to join our Emergency Department team on the night shift. In this critical role, you'll be the first point of contact for patients and families, helping create a welcoming experience while supporting registration, scheduling, and insurance verification processes.
What You'll Do
- Greet and register patients arriving in the Emergency Department
- Accurately collect patient demographic and insurance information
- Verify coverage and secure required documentation
- Assist patients and families with questions and wayfinding
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to support patient flow
- Maintain confidentiality and ensure data accuracy

- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Proficiency with computers and data entry
- Healthcare, hospitality, retail, or customer service experience is a plus
