Job Summary
This position works to conceptualize, create and produce marketing materials within an agency setting. Working with a team of professional and student staff to handle project timelines using our content management system.
Essential Functions of the Job
- Design marketing materials for print and digital collateral.
- Correspond and meet with clients so designs are completed to their needs while adhering to Union Marketing’s timeline.
- Prepare files for print and oversee/assist with printing and deployment.
- Work with other disciplines inside Union Marketing to complete orders.
- Manage timelines and multiple projects.

Qualifications (Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- Ability to read and follow directions, work under deadlines, and manage time effectively.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of basic layout skills, design principles, typography and illustration.
- Basic understanding of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Acrobat).
- Knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Teams, Word and Outlook).
- Ability to create materials that adhere to design guidelines and standards.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift 20 pounds
- Able to work at a computer for up to 8 hours

- Sitting for long periods of time.
Hours/Scheduling
- Approximate hours per week: 10-25
