Customer Engagement Intern Copilot.CX New York (hybrid)

About the role Copilot.CX powers engagement platforms for leading Smart Home brands. We're looking for a hands-on intern to build and optimize customer communication workflows on the Copilot.cx platform, helping our clients engage Smart Home users at every stage of the customer journey, from onboarding and activation through retention and re-engagement.

What you'll do

  • Design and build automated customer engagement workflows (push, email, in-app) on the Copilot.cx platform
  • Map customer journeys for Smart Home users and identify the right moments and messages for each touchpoint
  • Use AI tools heavily to draft messaging, generate workflow logic, and iterate quickly
  • Analyze workflow performance and optimize triggers, timing, and content based on engagement data
  • Work directly with customer success and product teams to translate client goals into working flows

What we're looking for

  • Strong interest in customer engagement, marketing automation, or product
  • Comfortable and fast with AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.) as part of your daily workflow
  • Analytical mindset, able to read data and turn it into workflow improvements
  • Self-starter who can take a brief and run with it
  • Bonus: experience with CRM, marketing automation platforms, or Smart Home / IoT products
