Kodely Afterschool Leader - Indianapolis IN (Fall 2026) - $22-30/hr

Kodely — Afterschool Program Leader

Pay: $20–$30/hour
 Location: In-person

What You'll Do

  • Lead a group of up to 20 students (TK–8th grade) in an after-school enrichment workshop using Kodely's pre-built curriculum.
  • Set up and pack up class materials before and after each session.
  • Create a positive, engaging, and well-managed learning environment.
  • Coordinate with Kodely Operations and the school site contact.
  • Submit attendance, incident reports, and material updates in real time.

Qualifications

You must:

  • Have prior K–8 teaching experience listed on your resume, such as:
    • Classroom Teacher
    • Co-Teacher
    • Student Teacher
    • Paraeducator
    • Teaching Assistant
    • Structured Tutor
    • After-School Instructor
    • Learning Center Instructor
  • Be legally authorized to work in the U.S. for the entire 2026–27 school year without employer sponsorship.
  • Commit to your assigned weekday from August 2026 through June 2027 with no mid-year withdrawal.
  • Respond to Kodely Operations within 4 business hours during the school year.

Not a Fit If

  • Your only child-facing experience is:
    • Babysitting
    • General childcare
    • Camp Counseling
    • Day Camp Assistance
    • Occasional Tutoring
  • You cannot commute to the assigned school site.
  • You cannot commit to the assigned weekday for the full school year.

Requirements

  • Negative TB test
  • State-required Mandated Reporter Training Certificate
  • Background Clearance
