Warehouse Manager

Job Summary: The Warehouse Manager will oversee all aspects of warehouse operations including inventory management, tool and equipment maintenance, deliveries to job sites, and communication with various stakeholders. They will ensure the efficient utilization of resources, maintain accurate inventory records, and uphold safety standards.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  1. Inventory Management:
    • Account for all company tools and equipment.
    • Track inventory at job locations and warehouse.
    • Update inventory records for tool movements between job sites.
    • Manage inventory updates for tools ordered and shipped to job sites.
  2. Warehouse to Job Site Deliveries:
    • Confirm and coordinate all delivery requests.
    • Coordinate shipments with Best-Way counterpart to optimize efficiency.
  3. Cleanout Management:
    • Inventory items returned for cleanouts.
    • Update inventory lists for partial cleanouts.
    • Perform final reconciliation of tools inventory on completion of cleanouts.
  4. Warehouse Operations Management:
    • Organize tools and materials within the warehouse.
    • Coordinate movement of tools and materials as required.
    • Fulfill requests for tools and materials from the warehouse.
    • Ensure the security of company assets.
  5. Tool and Equipment Maintenance:
    • Inspect tools to ensure they are in safe working condition.
    • Maintain tools and ensure they have all required parts and accessories.
    • Coordinate repairs with manufacturer representatives.
    • Track all tool repairs.
  6. Stocked Materials Inventory Management:
    • Manage inventory of safety glasses, gloves, vests, hard hats, etc.
    • Forecast inventory needs based on weeks of supply.
  7. Communication:
    • Provide timely and accurate communications.
    • Liaise with business partners including resources, purchasing, and field personnel.
  8. Monthly Reporting:
    • Prepare Best-Way performance reports.
    • Provide general warehouse updates.
    • Generate location shrink reports for final cleanouts.
  9. Availability:
    • Accessible via phone/email Monday to Friday from 6am to 5pm.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in warehouse management or related field.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively.
