We are seeking an Electrical Engineer for immediate employment in our downtown Chicago office.
In this position, you will:
Design and develop electrical engineering solutions for complex technical challenges
Prepare electrical engineering calculations, reports, studies, drawings, specifications, and other project documentation
Perform engineering analyses, including equipment selection and system evaluations
Research, interpret, and apply applicable building codes, regulatory requirements, and industry standards to ensure compliant designs
Ensure designs conform to all applicable codes, client requirements, and engineering best practices
Demonstrate sound engineering judgment, creativity, and problem-solving skills to anticipate and resolve technical issues
Contribute to the development and improvement of engineering standards and design practices
Work closely with departmental management, senior professionals, and multidisciplinary team members on a variety of projects
We are looking for someone who has:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
Minimum of 5 years of electrical engineering design experience on commercial, municipal, institutional, and/or public-sector projects
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit; experience with BIM coordination
Ability to perform electrical engineering calculations, equipment selection, and technical analyses
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a team-oriented environment
Professional Engineer (P.E.) license preferred

Starting salary range is $90,000 - $120,000 Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent on factors, including but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
