Dental Lab Technician
Role Description The Dental Lab Technician (CAD/CAM) is a full-time, on-site position based in New York, NY. This role involves designing and milling dental restorations using CAD/CAM software and equipment, including crowns, and implant bridges. Daily responsibilities include receiving and reviewing prescriptions and digital scans, scanning, milling, sintering, fitting contacts & occlusion and bonding of implant restorations. The technician collaborates closely with dental professionals and other lab team members to ensure accurate, high-quality results, follows strict health and safety protocols, and documents work in accordance with laboratory standards and procedures.
Qualifications
- Proficiency with EXOCAD design software.
- Knowledge of dental technology and dentistry fundamentals, including materials and restorative procedures.
- Experience working as a laboratory technician in a dental or medical setting.
- Attention to detail, manual dexterity, and ability to follow precise technical instructions.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Relevant formal training or certification in dental technology or dental laboratory sciences; on-the-job experience in a dental lab is highly valued.
