ICJIA’s Center for Victim Studies is seeking a Research Scientist II to support the Center’s work on victimization and with victim service stakeholders. As an ICJIA researcher they will conduct studies on victimization, draft research articles and presentations, provide training and support to organizations on data collection and analysis, and collaborate with other state agencies, researchers, and stakeholders. The Research Scientist II will be joining a research environment that promotes trauma-informed research practices, community partnerships, and professional development. Potential projects include a study of victimization trends in Illinois, vicarious trauma research, and evaluation of Victim of Crime Act and Violence Against Women Act funded programs.
