Compensation: $15/hour; Potential college credit

Target: Ideal for Sophomores and Juniors in Business and Marketing seeking real world experience in building marketing campaigns and distinguish themselves from the approximate 390,000 business majors graduating annually. Open to candidates seeking either Part or Full time employment.

About Us:

TechBldrs is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Marketing Intern to help execute our dynamic, hands-on marketing efforts. This is an exceptional opportunity for a driven individual to gain practical, real-world experience in core marketing functions, including building valuable industry contacts, developing and executing marketing campaigns, and actively managing and generating leads. You will be an integral part of our team, contributing directly to our marketing efforts and learning the intricacies of a fast-paced marketing environment.

Role Overview:

As a hands-on Marketing Intern, you will be deeply involved in the day-to-day operations of our marketing team. This role is designed to provide you with practical experience in building and nurturing contacts, assisting in the creation and execution of marketing campaigns across various channels, and supporting our lead generation and management activities. You will work to demystify the tasks for marketing and collect the metrics that measures the success of any marketing effort.

Responsibilities:

  • Contact Building and Relationship Support: 
    • Assist in researching and identifying potential industry contacts and key stakeholders.
    • Support the maintenance and organization of our contact database (CRM).
    • Help in drafting and personalizing communications for outreach to contacts.
    • Assist in tracking interactions and engagement with key contacts.
  • Marketing Campaign Assistance: 
    • Collaborate on the development and execution of marketing campaigns across various channels (e.g., email, social media, content marketing).
    • Assist in creating and curating content for campaigns, including drafting social media posts, email copy, or blog snippets.
    • Support the scheduling and deployment of campaign assets.
    • Help monitor campaign performance and gather data.
  • Lead Generation Support: 
    • Research and identify potential leads through various online tools and platforms.
    • Assist in the creation and optimization of lead generation forms and landing pages.
    • Support the implementation of lead capture strategies.
    • Help track and report on lead generation activities.
  • Lead Management Support: 
    • Assist in organizing, segmenting, and managing leads within our CRM system.
    • Support the nurturing of leads through automated or manual outreach under guidance.
    • Help track lead status and movement through the marketing and sales funnel.
    • Assist in preparing reports on lead metrics and performance.
  • Provide general support to the marketing team on various projects as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Serious about entering the business and marketing career.
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in hands-on real world marketing activities, particularly in campaign execution and lead management.
  • Proficient in Canva, video editing, graphics design, and social media posting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
