Law Student Intern
Greenridge Group operates six connected businesses:. Three of which are Greenridge Wealth, a registered investment adviser (RIA) serving individual and institutional clients; Greenridge L&C, a legal and compliance consulting practice supporting other RIAs and financial firms; and Greenridge Ventures, the group's venture investing arm — conviction capital for founders from pre-seed through Series A, focused on fintech & capital markets, frontier & applied AI, vertical software, marketplaces & networks, developer & infra tools, and consumer businesses with a real moat.
We're looking for a law student to join us as a paid intern, supporting across these businesses and gaining exposure to how financial regulation, compliance, and venture investing intersect in practice — not just in a casebook.
**What you'll do:**
- Assist with research on investment adviser regulatory requirements (Investment Advisers Act, state securities law, Reg D/blue sky considerations)
- Support drafting and review of compliance policies, disclosure documents, and client-facing agreements for Greenridge Wealth and outside L&C consulting clients
- Help track multi-state RIA registration filings and requirements
- Gain exposure to Form ADV disclosures and Greenridge Wealth's client-facing advisory operations
- Support due diligence on referral and solicitor arrangements, including compliance with state and federal rules governing client referrals
- Assist with legal/diligence support on Greenridge Ventures deal work as it arises — term sheet review, cap table basics, and portfolio company compliance questions (note: some fund entities are still in formation, so exposure here will grow as the fund becomes active)
- Observe and assist with conflicts-of-interest analysis and other live compliance matters across the businesses
- Work directly with our CLO/CCO across the group — real projects, not just research memos
**What we're looking for:**
- Currently enrolled in law school (1L, 2L, or 3L welcome)
- Interest in securities law, financial regulation, venture/startup transactions, or corporate/compliance practice
- Strong research and writing skills; comfort with regulatory material and client-sensitive information
- No prior securities law, wealth management, or venture experience required
**Details:**
- Paid position
- Flexible scheduling around your class schedule
- [Remote]
