Engineering Manager

Position Summary
This position supports Tiger Star Construction Company of  Hailiang Copper Texas Inc. By leveraging the professional expertise of the Engineering Manager to ensure compliance, quality, safety, and the efficient execution of projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
-Job setting purpose Responsible for the construction management, schedule control, quality and safety, on-site coordination, resource coordination, and internal and external docking of US construction projects, coordinating the entire construction process management of the project, ensuring the safety, quality, efficiency, and timely delivery of the project, and ensuring project compliance, cost control, and compliance operation.
-Responsible for full-process construction management and internal/external coordination of assigned projects. 
-Develop overall control plans for engineering projects based on project management objectives, and review corresponding plans.
-Preside over material sample sealing and site acceptance inspections, and supervise construction process monitoring and acceptance work.
-Manage safety, schedule, quality, environmental protection, and other aspects of engineering projects.
-Collect, organize, and archive engineering technical documentation for projects.
-Coordinate with various departments to resolve design and technical issues discovered during construction.
-Assist the group in completing corresponding infrastructure construction tasks.
-External Responsible for communicating and coordinating with the competent project construction unit, user unit, and industry regulatory department.
Required Qualifications

【Experience】
-Graduates majoring in construction engineering, civil engineering, engineering management, etc. Those who are excellent in junior college can be relaxed;
-Have 10 years (or 2 years in the US) or more of construction site management experience, with complete construction management experience in industrial projects; those with experience in US construction projects and US engineering projects are preferred.

【Qualifications】

-Priority will be given to those who hold the professional qualification of registered constructor in construction engineering and mechanical and electrical engineering, and the intermediate or above professional title in construction engineering.

【Knowledge and skills】
-Familiar with the construction process, construction specifications, and acceptance standards, able to independently prepare construction plans and schedules, and skillfully control the progress, quality, safety, and on-site coordination of the project;
-Familiar with the whole process of engineering visa, change, data acceptance and progress payment declaration;
-Proficient in CAD, OFFICE work software and engineering management management tools;
-Have basic English communication skills and be able to meet the simple external docking needs of overseas on-site;
-Those who understand the local construction management model, local employment and construction standards in the US are preferred.
