Product Development and Production Intern    

Fall Academic Credit Internship

DVF is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Product Development and Production Intern to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for the fashion industry, excellent organizational skills, and a proactive attitude. In this role, you will support the PD and Production team in developing and producing seasonal collections within a creative and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Support the PD and Production team in the execution of samples and production
• Assist inventory tracking, maintain sample logs, and support with internal systems organization.
• Track samples throughout the product development and production stages
• Maintain and organize sample inventory, including protos, SMS, and materials.
• Coordinate shipping and receiving between the NY office and international vendors
• Provide daily support to the PD and Production team as needed

Requirements:

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Genuine passion for the fashion industry; an understanding of garment construction is a plus.
• Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
• In office 2-3 days per week.
