Pricing Analyst

Formica is seeking an early-career professional to fill the role of Pricing Analyst in our Cincinnati (Evendale), OH headquarters. The successful candidate for this role will be intellectually curious and have a passion for finding answers hidden in data. They will work closely with both the commercial team and business stakeholders to drive growth and increase profit.
Responsibilities include:
- In collaboration with other junior pricing analysts, lead the review, analysis, and pricing inputs for all Formica products in accordance with Formica margin expectations
- Analyze volume, pricing, and margin trends to provide insights to guide the business
- Work with business stakeholders to define KPIs and reports for commercial performance measurement
- Monitor data quality and resolve any issues in collaboration with data owners
- Create pricing analysis and reports that condense complex topics into actionable information
- Assess and analyze progress towards organizational volume and profitability goals
- Develop a deep understanding of both commercial and operational processes
- Lead large pricing strategic initiatives and associated modeling to drive profitable growth
Requirements include:
- Bachelor’s degree or working towards Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Statistics, Economics, or similar field is required
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with business intelligence tools, preferably QlikSense
- High level of analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to details
- Ability to understand complex problems and propose solutions
- Ability to manage and prioritize a demanding workload
- Self-motivated and hard-working individual who is goal-oriented
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with others is required
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
