Children’s Christian Formation at Parkside Church
Located in downtown Charleston, South Carolina and next to the historic Hampton Park,
Parkside Church is a creative new Presbyterian church that’s partnered with a historic Lutheran congregation.
Our mission is to share and be the good news that God is pursuing all people
to experience the beautiful way of Jesus lived out thoughtfully in our relationships, community, and culture.
Responsibilities
• Excellent weekly Sunday Christian formation towards an integrative vision
• Application of Catechesis of the Good Shepherd and Montessori principles
• Partner with Families to support the spiritual formation of children under 12
• Maintain administrative responsibilities
• Commitment to curiosity, LGBTQ-inclusion, justice, and following Jesus
Hours and Compensation
• Potential hours: 20 hours (5 hours on-site Sunday from 8 am to 1 pm, 15 hours remote)
• Compensation: $22k – $30k
• Unlimited PTO
• Negotiable education support

- • enter into DSS mandated reporting of accused or disclosed abusive behavior
