IGeTS Project Coordinator - Summer 2026 - Work Study or Regular Pay

The IGeTS (Intergenerational Technology Services) – Mobile Project is seeking a motivated and organized graduate student to serve as the IGeTS Project Coordinator. This grant-funded, community-based program connects undergraduate students with older adults and adults with disabilities to provide individualized technology support and training.

Working closely with the Project Director, the Project Coordinator will assist with the implementation, coordination, oversight, and evaluation of the program. This is a hybrid position offering valuable experience in project management, community engagement, program evaluation, student supervision, and grant-funded program administration.

About the IGeTS Program

IGeTS (Intergenerational Technology Services) – Mobile is a grant-funded, intergenerational, community-based technology support program in which undergraduate students provide individualized technology assistance to older adults and adults with disabilities. The program promotes digital inclusion while creating meaningful intergenerational learning experiences and strengthening community partnerships.

Responsibilities

The Project Coordinator will work collaboratively with the Project Director to support all aspects of project implementation. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist with project implementation, coordination, oversight, and ongoing program operations.
  • Supervise undergraduate student employees participating in the IGeTS program.
  • Coordinate program activities, including scheduling undergraduate student work hours and technology support services.
  • Communicate and collaborate with community partners to coordinate services, address challenges, and enhance program delivery.
  • Support project evaluation activities, including data collection, data analysis, data interpretation, and presentation of findings.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and records.
  • Assist with outreach and promotional activities to increase awareness of the program.
  • Perform other project-related duties as assigned by the Project Director.

Preference may be given to applicants with experience in one or more of the following areas:

  • Project or program coordination.
  • Supervising or mentoring students.
  • Community engagement or service-learning.
  • Program evaluation, including data collection and analysis.
  • Microsoft Office or Google Workspace applications
