The 31 Women Collection is seeking a Research Intern to support research on women artists and help expand the collection's growing archive. This internship is ideal for students interested in art history, museum studies, archives, libraries, or women's history who are looking to build practical research experience while contributing to an important cultural initiative.
Responsibilities
- Conduct research using library, museum, archival, and online resources
- Locate and organize information on artists featured in The 31 Women Collection
- Compile bibliographies and research materials
- Prepare brief research summaries
- Assist with ongoing collection and research projects
Qualifications
- Current undergraduate or graduate student in Art History, Museum Studies, Library & Information Science, History, Women's Studies, or a related field
- Strong research and organizational skills
- Familiarity with library databases and online research tools
- Interest in women artists and art history
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Internship Details
- Hybrid position based in New York City or Washington, DC
- Semester-long commitment
- Academic credit through your university or a semester stipend
- Previous interns have attended New York University, Columbia University, Indiana University, Tulane University, and Washington University.
