Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour + Tips

We are looking for a dedicated Pet Bather and Grooming Assistant to join our growing team. What You'll Do

Your primary role is to support our grooming team and ensure every pet has a safe, calm, and thorough cleaning experience.

• Bathing & Drying: Wash dogs using specific shampoos and conditioners tailored to their coat and skin needs. Thoroughly blow-dry and brush out coats to prepare them for the stylist.
• Prep Work: Safely perform basic grooming tasks, including nail trims, ear cleaning, and gland expressions (Grooming Assistant).
• Pet Handling: Safely lift, handle, and secure dogs of all sizes and temperaments, always prioritizing their comfort and well-being.
• Salon Cleanliness: Keep bathing beauty stations, tubs, and cages clean and sanitized. Sweep hair, sanitize tools, and manage laundry (towels) throughout the day.
• Team Support: Assist groomers with handling difficult or anxious pets when needed, and help keep the salon workflow moving smoothly.

What We Are Looking For

• Experience: Previous experience handling dogs in a professional setting (grooming salon, daycare, vet clinic, or shelter) is highly preferred, but we are willing to train the right person with a strong work ethic.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, work with water and pet dander, and safely lift dogs weighing up to 50 lbs (or assist with heavier breeds).
• Patience & Care: A calm demeanor. Grooming can be stressful for pets; you must treat every animal with kindness and respect.
• Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and a team player who communicates well with coworkers.
