Helping Hands Physical Therapy is a busy private practice, providing high quality care to our many wonderful patients for over 22 years. We have a fun group of dedicated staff and are looking to add to our team. We offer a flexible schedule with paid time off and are closed for all major holidays. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with various physical conditions, helping them regain mobility and improve their quality of life. This role requires a strong understanding of physical therapy techniques, medical terminology, and the ability to develop personalized care plans tailored to each patient's needs. Experience in orthopedics and manual therapy is highly desirable. New grads welcome!!
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical abilities and limitations.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and patient goals.
- Implement therapeutic interventions such as trigger point therapy, exercise programs, and manual therapy techniques.
- Educate patients and their families about treatment options, home exercises, and injury prevention strategies.
- Document patient progress accurately in compliance with medical standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
- Maintain a clean and organized treatment environment within the clinic or home health setting.
- Stay current with advancements in physical therapy practices and participate in ongoing professional development.
Requirements
- Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist. New grads welcome to apply!
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to physical therapy practices.
- Familiarity with developing care plans that address individual patient needs.
- Proficiency in various physical therapy techniques including but not limited to trigger point therapy and orthopedic rehabilitation.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
