Physical Therapist Assistant

Job Title: Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

Location: Helping Hands Physical Therapy, Greenwich NY
Job Type: Full-Time or Part-Time Available
Schedule: Flexible schedule with the option to work 3 or 4 days per week

Position Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team. In this role, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients restore mobility, reduce pain, and improve their overall quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist
  • Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and functional activities
  • Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to the Physical Therapist
  • Document patient treatments and outcomes accurately
  • Educate patients on home exercise programs and recovery strategies
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized treatment environment
  • Provide encouragement and support to help patients reach their rehabilitation goals

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
  • Current Physical Therapist Assistant license in NY (or eligible for licensure)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment
