Position Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team. In this role, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients restore mobility, reduce pain, and improve their overall quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist
- Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and functional activities
- Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to the Physical Therapist
- Document patient treatments and outcomes accurately
- Educate patients on home exercise programs and recovery strategies
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized treatment environment
- Provide encouragement and support to help patients reach their rehabilitation goals
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current Physical Therapist Assistant license in NY (or eligible for licensure)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment
